The Georgian national rugby union team celebrated the first victory at the current World Cup in Japan. The Georgians beat Uruguay 33:7 and gained bonus point for the first time at World Cup.
Aleksandre Todua scored a try at the 8th minute. Otar Giorgadze scored the second try at the 29th minute. Uruguay had advantage in the last 10 minutes of the first half and scored a try. The first half finished 12:7 in favor of Georgia.
The South Americans could do nothing in the second half. Georgia scored three tries and gained a very important victory. Chilachava, Bregvadze and Kveseladze scored tries and Tedo Abzhandadze scored conversions.
The Lelos will hold the next match against Fiji on October 3.
