The Georgian rugby players Giorgi Tkhilaishvili and Giorgi Koshadze became the best try scorers of Rugby European Championship 2017.
Both of them own 4-4 tries. Tkhilaishvili scored a try against Belgium, Germany (2) and Spain and Koshadze against Belgium, Germany (twice) and Russia.
On the top scorer’s list, Merab Kvirikashvili occupied the 5th place, who earned 37 points with 14 conversions and 3 penalties.
In total, the Georgian team had the best result of the tournament: 19 tries and 136 points. Romania was the second with 16 tries and 122 points, Russia and Germany scored 14-14 tries. Georgia missed 4 tries and 44 points, in this regard Spain was the second – 5 tries and 54 points.
