It was not an easy victory. The Lelos did their best to beat the Spaniards who advanced 3:0 at the beginning of the match.
We could not use our advantage in scrum. Aggressiveness in ruck gave the hosts chance to oppress the Georgians and that is how Los Leones scored a try. Linklater scored conversion and Spain advanced 10:3. It happened at the 26th minute and the Georgians could not improve situation until the end of the first half.
The second half started with attack of The Lelos. Tkhilaishvili scored a try and Kvirikashvili used conversion – 10:10.
Soon, Soso Matiashvili scored the second try and Kvirikashvili used conversion again – 10:17.
The Georgians did not attack during the next 20 minutes. The Spaniards were doing their best but The Lelos defended themselves well.
At the 79th minute Kvirikashvili scored a penalty and the match finished 10:20.
