Georgian national rugby team successfully completed the second meeting of November test matches – today, the “Lelos” won over Samoa’s national team 20:16 at “Mikheil Meskhi” stadium.
The first half ended up with the victory of the Georgians. Merab Kvirikashvili made two conversions and Beka Bitsadze scored a try. As for the Samoan team, they scored one penalty, try and conversion. So, the half ended up in our favor – 17:10.
As for the second half, the visitors had the superiority and several attempts to score a try, but the Georgians successfully defended themselves. In another 40 minutes, three penalties were scored – two in our goalpost and one in visitor’s.
Milton Haig’s team will complete the November tests by facing Scotland.
