The Georgia sevens rugby team lost 7:24 to Great Britain Royals in quarter-final of Exeter leg of Sevens Grand Prix series.

In the first half the Brits possessed the ball and scored two tries. The Georgians held the second half better. Ioseb Matiashvili scored a try and Mamuka Ninidze used conversion. However, the opponent managed to score other two tries and finally, they won 24:7.

The Georgians have not won a match in Exeter yet. They played two draws and lost two matches. Georgia must beat Great Britain Lions for taking the sixth place. The match will start at 18:07 Tbilisi time.
