Georgian U-18 rugby team defeated Ireland in the ¼ final of European Championship in France and won the right to play in semifinal.
Gela Aprasidze opened the score, who managed to score a penalty (3:3) to which the try of Irelands was followed 3:8.
In the second half, Levan Chavchavadze ended the Georgians attack with a try – 8:8.
Finally, the final score was not fixed and 5-5 kick were appointed to reveal the winner. Shota Areshidze, Mirian Modebadze and Davit Modzgvrishvili made an exact kick, the opponent responded with the only kick and we won the match 3:1.
On March 31, in semifinal of European Championship, Georgian rugby players play against Italy.
