Mamuka Gorgodze, third liner of Georgian national team and French “Montpellier”, was named as the best rugby player of the year.

The Georgian Rugby Union announced this today at the final event, where winners were awarded.

Mamuka Gorgodze was named as the best player for the 4^th time – he gained this title before in 2008, 2009 and 2011. As the best player of the Georgian Championship was named Lasha Khmaladze, fly-half of Georgian national team and “Lelos” Tbilisi. In addition, the Rugby Union has awarded the other nominees and the winner of the Championship teams of 2012-2013, as well as winning teams of Sevens Championship.
