Georgia Did not Move forward in the Ranking by Beating Belgium

The Georgian national rugby union team is still in the 16th place with 69,07 points in IRB ranking.

“The Lelos” beat Belgium 35:0 in the previous match of “Nations Cup”. However, it did not bring us ranking points. Next Saturday the team of Milton Haig will play Portugal in Lisbon. In case of victory, the Georgians will gain 0,33 points. If the difference is 15 or more points, they will earn 0,495 points.

Anyway, this victory will not promote Georgia. It will only reduce points with Canada. In case of draw, “The Lelos” will lose 0,67 points. In case of loss, the Georgians will lose 1,67 points and losing with more points – 2,50 points.
