The Georgian national rugby union team defeated French Barbarians 16:15 at Dinamo Arena.

The first half finished in favor of the guests – 7:6. However, the Georgians played much better in the second half.

At the beginning of the second half Soso Matiashvili scored a try and Georgia advanced. This was followed by Sandro Todua’s try and the hosts advanced 16:10.

At the end of the match Barbarians scored the second try but could not use conversion which would have brought them victory. The match finished 16:15 in favor of The Lelos.

The Georgian national rugby union team is departing for Fiji where they will participate in the Pacific Ocean Cup.
