Karlen Asieshvili, Georgian player of “Brive”, scored his first try at Europe tournaments and as for Saba Meunargia, he had debut in “Connacht” Ireland.
“Bayonnais” of Giorgi Zhgenti hosted “Connacht” without Georgians and lost 27:29. This match was interesting for Georgian fans anyway, because 20-year-old Saba Meunargia played for the first time for the Irish club. He showed up at the 65th minute.
In the same group, “La Rochelle” of Lekso Kaulashvili lost to “Exeter” 17:41 in England. The Georgian player showed up at the 47th minute and at the 64th minute was substituted.
In the fifth group “Brive” of Goderdzi Shvelidze, Karlen Asieshvili and Anton Peikrishvili lost to “Oyonnax” 17:22 and is in the last place. Shvelidze rested, Peikrishvili was in lineup and was substituted during a break and as for Asieshvili, he showed up after the break and in 7 minutes scored a try. This is his first try at EuroCups and in the 3rd current season.
Remained two matches of “Challenge Cup” will take place in January.
